Like most people these days, I think a lot about relationships. Like many people with a traditional or sort-of traditional world view, I think about…the marriage. Specifically, the one that hasn’t happened yet (my own).

Most of the time I tend to feel frustrated…like a prophet of the ancient times, with clothing torn and ashes on his head, screaming towards the sky. Except of course I don’t put ashes on my head, and my jeans are only torn because they’re worn out.

But this is no way to live, even if your jeans are fine.

If you are fortunate enough to meet someone and get married (or have already done so) I will be very happy for you and if you send an invitation I will try to come to the ceremony…but remember this: your marriage will not be eternal.

If you believe in God, you need to know that He is the greatest good. He is the best thing that has ever happened to you.

Your special someone can change your life, but God will change your life and your eternity.
